President Message

Dear Members and Friends,

I am honoured to elected as the President of the Hong Kong Hernia Society. Since 2013, our society has flourished, expanding to over 400 dedicated members dedicated to advancing the field of hernia surgery and improve patient outcomes.

Our commitment to education has been a cornerstone of our achievements. Through our collaboration with the Asian Pacific Hernia Society, we have successfully organized several "Hernia Essentials" courses, both basic and advanced, training a new generation of talented surgeons. It is inspiring to see our efforts translate into enhanced skills and knowledge among young professionals in our field.

I am also proud to share that the Prince of Wales Hospital and the CUHK Medical Centre have been recognized as Centers of Excellence in Hernia Surgery by the Asian Pacific Hernia Society. This accolade reflects our dedication to maintaining high standards and fostering an environment of continuous improvement in hernia care.

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all our members for your unwavering support and commitment. Together, we will continue to push the boundaries of hernia surgery, ensuring that we provide the best possible care for our patients.
